Limited Black & Red/White Splatter LP. Legendary US Power Metal Band, founded1981 by William Tsamis and Mark Zonder. The band contributed the song Lucifer's Hammer to the Metal-Massacre series in 1983, followed by the mini-LP Deliver Us, and in 1984 came the album "And the Canons of Destruction Have Begun", the soundtrack to a music video, shot by the band. Since no suitable singer and bass player could be found at that time, Tsamis and Zonder separated. It wasn't until 2002 that the first studio album was released. Not least because of many fan letters, Tsamis and Zonder had set out to find a singer. Warlord is considered one of the most iconic and unique metal bands. Although no new releases appeared for almost 20 years, there was always a euphoric fan base. The Swedish band Hammerfall covered the warlord song Child of the Damned on their debut album. The name of Hammerfall also refers to a song by Warlord. After 36 years still a hammer album.
