20 years have passed since the debut album Die R?ckkehr der dunklen Krieger. After their gifted Heathen Metal trilogy, ANDRAS fans had to wait seven long years for the seventh full-length album called Reminiszenzen... The title is program Reminiszenzen... reminds over three chapters of the great black-metal motifs that have shaped both the band and the whole scene from the beginning: spirituality, heresy and homeland solidarity. For 67 minutes the listener can listen to the 1990s spirit of the everlasting ANDRAS sound in a mature garment. The pieces are uncomplicated and leave plenty of room for deep atmosphere, demonic aggression and epic reverence of the Erzgebirge. The legendary Saxon Black Metal Quartet consists of the band founder and guitarist NIGHTSKY, the new vocalist KHENAZ, the keyboard player GHWERIG as well as the veteran BLACK ABYSS on bass, who also celebrates his vocal return in some parts on this recording. The line-up was completed with various guest musicians, including the former drummer SHARDIK. Reminiscences were recorded... was recorded at Cryptsound Studio in Aue and the unmistakable clear finishing was done by ex-ANDRAS member FARAGO. A 20-page booklet, designed with works of the exceptional talent Thomas Huth, will be included on the Digipak CD.
