When the Dutch Rock Academy opened its doors in 1999 Danny Vera was one of the new school’s first students, together with classmate Floor Jansen from Nightwish. After finishing his study Danny went to visit and play Nashville for some inspiration and back in Holland he recorded his debut album. The album’s single “My Confession” reached the top position in the Turkish single chart and Danny toured Turkey, played some shows in America and when back in Holland he was asked as the support act for Chris Isaak. Since 2009 Danny Vera plays as a band-leader on the prime-time football show on Dutch TV. His new hit single “Rollercoaster” is the highest ever debuting single in the Dutch Top 2000 chart, debuting at number 4.
