The soundtrack to the best Berlin club night! It's Saturday night in Berlin and the Hoochie Krew has done it. DJ Don Rogall works the crowd, slurps his beer and throws another 10" hit on the turntable. Just as the scratching howl of a guitar mixes with a stubborn beat, a man in a beret enters the scene shouting something between gibberish and "woobedoowop! Do the Camel Twist! into a dirty microphone with lo-fi effects. GOGO girls in Leopard shreds wind their way to the booming live saxophone. A hot showgirl emerges from nowhere and peels herself out of a Klunkerkleid, accompanied by screams and whistles. It's all a huge, swaying dive with its own laws and as if from another dimension or time, the whole room is wildly mixed up, but in wondrous unity with the rough, earthy and elementary rhythm. This is Hoochie Koo. Here is the second volume in the Hoochie Koo series
