Yodelling was and is closely connected with traditional alpine music. But at the latest since our first LAUTyodeln Festival 2016 we know that yodelling is not only in the Alps but all over the world - in different ways! The rapid change between breast voice and head voice is a sheer indescribable fascination that fascinates people. We too can only speculate about what triggers this enthusiasm. Is it perhaps because of the originality, the remains of archaic Natural tones that generate an inspiring source of power that is second to none? We cordially invite you to do this with us at herauszu?nden! Far - Near - Far The word "yodelling" has its origin in the joyful exclamation "io" and goes back to a derivation of the Middle High German "Johlen". With this in mind, we wish you as initiators* of LAUTyodeln Vol. 2 many joyful experiences during these five festival days, which should make this archaically captivating form of human expression in its great diversity tangible for you.
