Ilan Pdahtzur, an avid but little-known record collector who is best known for sharing the artwork of obscure and undervalued club tunes of the early to mid 1980s on his popular Instagram feed, has been digging for vibrant, kaleidoscopic records since his teens. Now, thanks to Spacetalk, he has the opportunity to give an insight into his neon-lit nocturnal music world. The result is 'Night City Life', a killer collection of synthesizer songs from the 1980s, inspired by Ilan's admiration for the glamour of London's Late Night skyline. Over the course of 13 essential tracks, Ilan accompanies us on a lively sprint through the rare Italo disco world, the steaming South African synth boogie, the bubbling American freestyle, the strange Austrian electro funk and much more.
