For his current project Adriano Batolba Trio, Adriano tests on the new album "How Much Does It Cost, If It's Free? (release 09.08.2019) a new variant: Concentrated on voice, Gretsch guitar, double bass and drums, experiences and developments of the past years are reduced to the essential. In the team with Falko Burkert on double bass, who already proved his worth with Dick Brave And The Backbeats, as well as Bernie Weichinger on drums, a buddy with whom Batolba rocked during his studies in the clubs of Amsterdam, a powerful triumvirate came together. Top-class guests on the album, which includes a dozen original compositions, are Patricia Vonne (sister of cult director Robert Rodriguez), British Rockabilly legend Darrel Higham and the all-girl trio The Silverettes! Two cover versions complete the collection towards the end... A video interview/ EPK with first musical impressions of the new album "How Much Does It Cost, If It's Free?" can be found here. "How Much Does It Cost, If It's Free?" was produced together with Pomez diLorenzo - the man behind successful artists like Samy Deluxe, Sasha, Cosmo Klein or der Wolf - and recorded live by Kai Lee at ABAB and Diva Soft Studios Dortmund.
