It’s about time, Bad Religion! The punk legends have finally announced their 17th studio album, Age of Unreason. The self-described “album’s worth of ‘Fuck Trump’ songs” will be released May 3 and a new single “Chaos From Within” can be heard right now. Over the last eight months, Bad Religion have steadily been releasing new music. The heavily criticized “The Kids Are Alt-Right” came out in June 2018, but will not be featured on the band’s new album. However, “Chaos From Within” and “My Sanity” -- the record’s opening tracks -- both made the cut, as did "The Profane Rights of Man." The album of modern day protest anthems will heavily reference today’s social and political climate. Racist rallies, Trump’s election, the erosion of the middle class, Colin Kaepernick’s protest, alternative facts and conspiracy theories will all be addressed, while homages to literary and philosophical works are honored.
