WISBORG are a phenomenon: the duo released their debut album - The Tragedy Of Seconds Gone- in 2018 out of nowhere. Through appearances at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, the Autumn Moon Festival and countless club shows with bands like She Past Away, Das Ich or Der Fluch they were suddenly on everyone's lips. With their second album -From The Cradle To The Coffin - WISBORG consistently continue their triumphal march. The sound is still deeply rooted in the post-punk and darkwave of the eighties, but more experimental, modern and with more electronic elements than on their first record. The Sisters Of Mercy meet Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative and Muse and sometimes you are reminded of more modern artists like The Soft Moon or IAMX. But WISBORG are much more than just the sum of these parts: With -From The Cradle To The Coffin- they have created their own musical niche and bring a breath of fresh air to the German music scene. Drum machines and clanking guitars, oppressive synths and lovely piano. And a deep, sensual male voice that immediately captivates every black heart. The Gothic scene 2019 can't avoid this combination!
