"Longue Distance" is the first album of Vincent Dupas (My Name is Nobody, Serpentine) under his own name, it's the desire to return to what really matters who we really are. The first thing you notice when listening to this first work is known, almost obvious: it's this tender voice with a luminous melancholy. Alternatively intimate, committed, lyrical, dreamy or down-to-earth, Dupas explores his own personality. The rhythm section is always elastic and catchy (Pierre Marolleau on drums and Hugo Allard bassist Von Pariahs), the arrangements are always surprising. A production in all nuances and strengths.
