ABRAMOWICZ are pure stage presence, supported by their incredibly engaging melodies, their catchy hooks and their inimitable Boss flair, which strikes you every second when you listen to them. The pleasantly smoky voice of frontman S?ren Warkentin, which reminds you again and again of the much-quoted Bruce Springsteen, but also of Brian Fallon or even Chuck Ragan, is something very special. And when, like in the opener Blood Red Letters of the current album The Modern Times, the piano sets in, one is convinced: This is great, melodious narrative art, which uses a certain unambiguous vastness and distinguishes music with a classic americana reference and stands out from simpler styles of Rock. This is a band that has succeeded in producing an album full of wonderful stories, impressive catchy moments and many goose-pimples promising songs that hit the heart and will certainly win a lot of new, completely enthusiastic fans again. See you in front of the stage!
