On 05.10.2018 singer songwriter and guitarist Doyle Bramhall II releases his new album "Shades" on Provogue/Mascot Label Group. It is the successor of the critically acclaimed "Rich Man", released in 2016, his first solo album in 15 years. It is also his debut with the Mascot Label Group. Since "Rich Man" Bramhall has become one of the most distinctive and sought-after guitarists of his time. He played with luminaries such as Roger Waters, Elton John, Gregg Allman, Allen Toussaint and T-Bone Burnett and was Eric Clapton's musical right hand for over ten years. He worked with him for over ten years both in the studio and on stage. He also wrote and produced albums for Sheryl Crow and the Tedeschi Trucks Band. "Shades" is a fascinating mix of dirty blues, rough garage rock, transcendent psychedelic and heart-rending ballads. As a multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer he raised his own bar many times over. As lyricist and arranger he followed the voice of his heart.
