The band combines not only boastful rock'n'roll, psychedelic blues and campfires with worthy stories, but also musicians whose paths once parted and who have now found each other again. Founded by guitarist Rich Robinson, The Magpie Salute continues an episode that began with guitarist Marc Ford and bassist Sven Pipien with the legendary The Black Crowes. Robinson has already worked with singer John Hogg on his side project'Hookah Brown'. Keyboarder Matt Slocum and drummer Joe Magistro support him since years with his solo albums and on tour. On their debut "High Water I", which will be released on August 10, 2018, they will publish their own material for the first time.
