White Heat is a future that shatters its past but nourishes its enthusiasm with its experience. A quartet in permanent motion: pushed by Florent's drumshots and fired by the hallucinated movements of his frontman Butch McKoy. In this space of sound chaos Julien GB and Lionel Naudon (formerly Lab°) turn in orbit between guitar, bass and keyboard. This raw white light is the blinding flash of the sound explosion. Here we recycle rage in decibel: bricks to erect a wall of its rough, and to spit on passers-by a little higher. White Heat does not start again, he is simply born, and brings with him all the strength and hope of a first cry. Before White Heat it was I Love UFO... First album in 2006 (`Wish' on Record Makers), produced by Vicarious Bliss and unanimously welcomed by the critics and the public. They are now recognized as one of the best rock bands that can be seen in this country. A band that could reignite the rock flame in France, fighting on equal footing with the Anglo-Saxons, on record as well as on stage. The second album was in 2010 (`Dirty Animals' on Bruit Blanc/Asphalt Duchess - illustration by Philippe Druillet). The trio became a quartet, adding a second guitar and an extra layer to an album in nuanced force.
