180g. From Diggers To Music Lovers. In 2017 the French label Wagram released the "Wanted Collection", an LP series dedicated to the different varieties of black music. At the same time four compilations - Reggae, Afrobeat, Soul, Funk - came into focus. This year it will be the same, except that in 2018 it will be disco, hip-hop and jazz. The latter is double. As is typical for the series, the "Wanted Jazz" edition also appears as an audiophile pressing on 180-gram vinyl, packed in an appealingly atmospheric artwork. Furthermore, the recordings of Clifford Brown & Max Roach Quintet, Horace Silver, Charles Mingus, Bob Mc Fadden & Dor, Donald Byrd, Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers and Lou Donaldson, among others, were updated for the new pressing.
