ANTIDEMON formed on January 12, 1994, with original members Carlos Batista on vocals, Alexandre Cebotorov on bass, Kleber Albino on guitars, Sergio Gon?alves on guitars, and Elke Garzoli on drums. The band went through some lineup changes, losing Cebotorov and Gon?alves, forcing Batista to become the band's bassist. The band released another demo in 1997 and third in 1998. The band's debut album, Demonoc?dio was released in 1999, independently. The band released a split EP with the band Zen Garden, titled Barad. In March 2002, Antidemon began their first tour outside of Brazil, in Mexico, on the Demonoc?dio Mexican Tour. The band released their sophomore album, Anillo de fuego, which translates to Ring of Fire in 2003. In 2004, the band released a live album, titled Live in Valencia - Spain. The band would also play Destruction Fest that year. A year later, the band saw the departure of Albino and Garzoli from the band, as well as Garzoli and Batista's divorce. The band released two more split EPs in 2006, the first with Empty Grave, and the second was a five-way-split with Against Death, Implement, Soterion, and Spiritual Life. In 2009, the band released a third album, Satanichaos, before Cebalho departed from the band. The band would go on to play Destruction Fest once again, alongside bands such as Ashen Mortality, A Hill to Die Upon, and Solace the Day. In 2009, the band toured around the countries of Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil, Italy, England, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, and Sweden. The band performed these shows with The Crucified, Theocracy, Narnia, Morgenroede, Prayer, Peerless, Allos, Dynasty, Harpazzo, Posttrevor, Moriah, and Honors Causa. The band remained silent for the most part until 2012, when the band signed to Rowe Productions, a label formed by Steve Rowe of Mortification. The band would release their fourth album, Apocalypse now in 2012, through Rowe. The band recently signed to Vision of God Records in 2017, and have announced that they are working on a new album that is set to be recorded
