The German quintet Vvlva (post-Orcus Chylde) revives the 1970s heavy-psychedelic Krautrock in an impressive way with their debut album "Path Of Virtue". The melange of epic, spherical Hammond organ passages, rocky riffs and distinctive vocals offers a lively and multifaceted listening pleasure. Finally again a band, which with the courage to individuality brings across an organ-heavy Uriah heep, deep purple or bloodrock sound timeless and authentic. With "Dieb der Seelen" ("Thief of Souls"), which reminds us of early Puhdy's hard rock crackers such as "Doors Open to the City", they perfectly hit the nerve of time!
