Weight Of The Tide is a metal band from Reno, Nevada. It is led by Mark Moots, who previously worked as a guitarist for the Aggro-Metalcore group December. "All Told" is the second album of the quintet after "Epilogue" from 2015. Like its predecessor, it offers groovy Southern state budgets that are sure to appeal to fans of Crowbar, Killswitch Engage, Down or Texas Hippie Coalition. Nevertheless, the new material is by no means a lukewarm infusion of the debut, Weight Of The Tide have undergone an audible development and have matured as a group. The reason: They wrote the whole album together, which obviously caused some knots to burst, as also band member Jes Phipps confirms:"Having that collaborative element allowed us to shed some of the limits we may have had before." This made the whole production feel more organic, dynamic and equal,"he continues. Because: everyone could get involved personally and become part of the creative process. And what can you say? The sound was only good for it!
