Re-issue of Abra’s debut album Rose on Ninja Tune. Atlanta based singer, songwriter and producer Abra releases her critically acclaimed 2015 Rose LP on vinyl, in a limited run, through Ninja Tune. Initially released via Awful Records on June 16th, 2015, six months following her BLQ Velvet EP. The twelve track effort features the single Roses which stands at over 3 million streams on Spotify and which Pitchfork describes as “a swamp teeming with youthful obsession” and names it a “highlight” on the album. Fruit, another standout on the project whose video has over 8 million views, is described by Nylon as “a source of life” and Stereogum as “mesmerizing”.
