VINSTA is the project of Christian H?ll in which he combines melodic death metal with hints of folk and regional dialect - a combination that is rare and maybe even unheard-of. Although undoubtedly rooted in harsh metal, VINSTA does not easily fit into any categories. "It's passionate music which takes the listener on a journey through darksome, yet beautiful emotions", says Christian. He realises his stirring compositions with the help of talented musicians who share his passionate approach to creating music. VINSTA's debut album "Vinsta Wiads" offers a 45 minutes voyage through beautiful sceneries, painted in keen musical contrasts, focusing on its Alpine homeland as well as on existential questions. The usage of the regional dialect and the hammered dulcimer support the authentic approach of a project that has just started to write its very own chapter in Austrian metal music.
