Agitation Free was created in 1967 in Berlin. By 1972 the Krautrock band had gained such a good reputation that they appeared in the cultural programme of the Summer Olympics in Munich. In the same year the debut album "Malesch" was released, in 1973 already its successor "2nd". Towards the end of 1974 Agitation Free dissolved. Looking back, it becomes clear that the experimental circle was not only central to the Berlin school, but above all an important career vehicle. Thus Christopher Franke helped Tangerine Dream to worldwide recognition. Michael Hoenig worked with Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream before he became known as a film composer after a solo album in Hollywood, among other things for the soundtrack to "9y Wochen". Axel Genrich changed to Guru Guru. Burghard Rausch became a founding member of Bel Ami. Gustl L?tjens toured with Shirley Bassey and Nena and later found a large audience in the USA with his new-age band Living Mirrors. L??l joined Ash Ra Tempel, worked together with Nico, produced several solo records besides theater music and has had great success with the 17 Hippies since the end of the nineties.
