CD in Digipack - founding member of the Post Metal Band,"Downfall of Gaia" with first solo record Solo debut album by Peter Wolff After a classical guitar training followed very early on first experiences and successes in different bands and paved the way for Peter Wolff to become a founding member of the Black Metal Band,"Downfall of Gaia". He created the sound as one of the main songwriters and shaped it into a genre-influencing and trend-setting mix of angry, fast Black Metal fists and atmospheric dreamlike soundscapes. Downfall of Gaia" met with worldwide approval by listeners and critics and so followed releases on one of the world's biggest labels in this field,"Metal Blade Records" and worldwide tours besides Europe in countries such as the USA, Russia, Australia and Japan. In 2016 Peter Wolff,"Downfall of Gaia" left in friendship and affinity to devote himself to his desire for musical development and the achievement of new acoustic universes. Since then he has concentrated on compositions of electronically produced spherical and cinematic music, sound design, experiments with classical instruments such as piano, saxophone and orchestra, as well as synthesizers, and combines all this with his roots in guitar-oriented music. The result presents the listener with flowing and hypnotic soundscapes that are reminiscent of names like Max Richter, Johann Johannsson or Drhren & der Club of Gore, but which clearly show Peter Wolff's unique handwriting. Repeat was personally recorded by Peter Wolff in 2017 and produced, mixed and mastered by Timo Neuscheler at Chaos Compressor Club Studios in Hamburg.
