Tradition meets modernity. The style? Hard Rock.... somehow the music immediately captivates you. I find it difficult to describe what makes this special. But it works. It's a perfect fit from the start. It rocks properly. The vocals are varied, the electric guitars are used officially. And the rhythm section also understands its craft and gives the whole thing the necessary drive. That you can do it differently is shown with a more quiet, mischievous and melancholic songs like "Mason?s vial". But the supposed calmness doesn't last long. Already with the following track the disc does not start up again according to speed and the steam in the boiler rises. WILD LIES do not reinvent the wheel. But it only happens every 20 years anyway. You rock solidly and that convinces me in this case quite clearly. I've listened to this album a few times and I just love it. Something like "Love at first sight"....
