Ume? has a long history of Punk and Hardcore music. From the late 70's punk bands like The Pinheads and Caligulas Barn to the second wave of 90's Hardcore with bands like Refuse, Abhinanda and the Doughnuts to the DIY ethics of DS-13 and the Regulations. Dennis Lyxzen (Refused, INVSN) and Inge Johansson (Against Me, The (International) Noise Conspiracy) started Ny V?g records in the mid 2000's as a result of a vibrant and exciting punk scene releasing bands like The Vicious, Regulations, AC4 and Masshysteri. After being dormant for the last couple of years due to their other obligations they decided to put the Ny V?g stamp of approval on the new Bad Nerve LP. Fredrik Lindqvist (Totalt J?vla M?rker, Knugen Faller) started Luftslott a couple of years ago to release quality punk stuff both locally and nationally. Now they've joined forces to give you a damn fine example of the Ume? Hardcore tradition with the new Bad Nerve LP: The Lost Ones. Bad Nerve is the brainchild of Jonas Lyxzen whom, if you know your history, has been a part of a bunch of classic Ume? bands like Abhinanda, Separation, DS-13, Insurgent Kid and so on. Jonas is joined by Melody Almroth (from the local band Trots) on bass and vocals and new comer M?rten Bl?ckberg on Vocals and Guitar. They've already managed to do a short european tour in 2014, a China tour in 2015 and they've released a criminally underrated 7" on Ny v?g Ny V?g and also a split 7" with Fanzui Xiangfa from China. Both these were released in 2014. Now they are back with a full-length album called The Lost Ones. 14 tracks of simple yet innovative and catchy punkrock that mirrors both the Ume? tradition and classic american Hardcore like Zero Boys, Bad Brains and Wipers
