Ziemba is the performing moniker of El Paso-based musician, writer, and perfumer Rene Kladzyk. Kladzyk's multifaceted work has been showcased in venues including MoMA Ps1, Pioneer Works, National Sawdust, and toured internationally. Her most recent full length album, ARDIS, functioned as a series of portals into a sci-fi adventure and parallel world, and featured three fragrances, costumes, sets, and full choir. Her writing has been published in outlets including Teen Vogue, i-D, The Creative Independent, and more. She has held artistic residencies with Pioneer Works, Kickstarter, Varda, and Guerilla Science. Kladzyk is both terrified and elated to be releasing True Romantic, a collection of unabashed and overblown love songs, on Sister Polygon in Fall 2020.
