Tintakel" is a distillate of ASP creativity. On October 18, 2019 the first release of the eagerly awaited fulltime album "KOSMONAUTILUS" will be released, which will be released at the end of November. A perfect first single for two reasons. On the one hand it is a perfect example for the self-chosen music style of the band, the Gothic Novel Rock, which means: It's a scary and beautiful story in song form. The other reason is that the lyrics don't yet "spoil" how the Fremder cycle unfolds for the listener in the course of the new concept album. So even the long-time fan can "calmly" enjoy the new musical foretaste. "Tintakel" tells in an almost sensual way the story of a mysterious tattoo, which develops a bloodthirsty life of its own. Musically the band rocks with energy and passion, with the subject corresponding hardness and what the melodic magician Spreng is best at: a chorus that immediately becomes a merciless catchy tune. With "Tintakel" ASP create a wonderful balancing act between the dark romantic gothic novels of the butterfly era like "Silence of the Night" and the more modern, metallic sounds of the ASP new era. And yet "Tintakel" sounds fresh and enriches the ASP cosmos with a completely new, independent colour that above all calls for movement.
