Explorer Series Vol.4, Original ethnic music of the peoples of the world Berlin 2019 On the Berlin label Nonplace, the first ethnological edition of the musical traditions of Central Europe, based on the example of contemporary Berlin, summarized by Burnt Friedman, is published in a world-historical uniqueness. After house and techno, or club music, had become cultural phenomena, and for 30 years had been played on festive occasions and continuously in all cultural venues, it was time for a reappraisal, for this music-ethnological inventory of the creative spectrum of Berlin in the light of Central Europe. So far, the inclined listener has been able to find the corresponding audio documents in the subject "World Music", which could give a direct acoustic insight into the culture and tradition of the rarest ethnic groups and most remote regions. However, the traditions and customs of white Central Europeans were often ignored in these inventories. This new publication finally does justice to this gaping gap in the music archives. In the course of the museumization of threatened cultural heritage, the community of all, the special examples of western coinage in the area of music production, Techno, jazz, Dub, etc., can no longer be denied.
