Symphony X founder and guitarist Michael Romeo finally returns to his new solo project "War of the Worlds, Pt. 1", a mixture of metal, rock, prog and symphonic elements. The lush production includes an all-star line-up with Romeo on guitar, bassist John "JD" DeServio (Black Label Society), drummer John Macaluso (Yngwie, Ark, James LaBrie) and newcomer Rick Castellano on vocals. The fan can expect a journey from the science-fiction-like "Fear the Unknown" and the relentless "Black" to the multi-layered "Believe" and the metal/electronic hybrid "F * cking Robots". Michael Romeo is back and makes the hearts of all Symphony X and Progressive Metal fans beat faster.
