Both World's Experience Orchestra albums were recorded in and around Boston in the late 1970s and were brought to life by visionary bassist, composer and arranger John Jamyll Jones in small quantities on vinyl. In the late 1990s, music began to arouse great enthusiasm in circles of spiritual jazz collectors such as Jazzman Gerald and Gilles Peterson. Gilles Peterson and Ubiquity have so far been the only ones to participate in his "Gilles Peterson Digs America - Brownswood U. S. A." album re-released the ensemble's music at all. This set on Egon's prestigious Now Again Reissue label is the first time that the catalogue has been compiled as an official re-release. The CD is published in a valuable "tip-on" sleeve in an o-card with an extensive booklet, which presents the history of the band in text and photos. Fans of artists like John Coltrane, who are looking for new food, will find it here.
