This album tells of the sky god Froh (Freyr), who tries to win for himself the giantess Gerda (Ger?r). Heaven courts the Earth. The erotics of landscape, the landscape of erotics. It is a free adaptation of the Old Icelandic Sk?rnism?l and closely follows the moods of this poem, alternating between sentimental and brutish passages. Following the original, this album concerns pride, desire and rage.
