After more than 200 concerts in Europe the American Robyn Bennett and her band "Bang Bang present the new album The Song Is You. Jazz-influences are still present, even as pop is now given a larger space. Rock and swing, soul and fun unite with the highest musical power. From irresistible rhythms and the sticky melodies up to explosive brass is everything in there. "I like the concept of stone skipping on a calm water surface. It is a way to offer nature. The stone defies at the same time, for a while, his unchanging destiny, the gravitation to obey. The album features also the Grammy Award Nominated Gretchen Parlato and Theo Bleckmann as well as Neli and Kalina Andreeva.
