DIL WITHERS - Studies (LP)

First solo release from the punning Dil Withers, available on limited edition cassette. Tape styles feature a hidden track not available digitally and multiple jcard panels of collages from the man himself. Dil is a New York via Seattle beatsmith who has previous on a split via Dirty Tapes and lit up the Boiler Room with a set of neck-snap boom-bap in 2014. This is his debut full-length and is 21 tracks deep, featuring cameo flow from Tuamie, Melanie Charles aka D'Flower, and Porter Ray nestled into the low-slung, jazz-inflected samplism, soft bass pressure and Dilla flavoured MPC elasticity.
