CASA DAS MAQUINAS - Lr De Maravilhas (LP)

Lar De Maravilhas is the 2nd studio album from Brazilian prog-rock group Casa Das M?quinas, originally released in 1975. Though their debut release lacked ambition and personality, that was not the case with their sophomore release; this album is a truly mesmerizing work of prog mastery. Drawing pop influence from The Beatles, of course, but filtered through a crunchy, guitar heavy prog sound that is indebted to Procol Harum, Yes, Genesis, and Camel, and, of course, the Brazilian heroes Os Mutantes. One of the better examples of Brazilian prog of the '70s, Lar De Maravilhas has been out of print on vinyl for the more than 4 decades since its initial release.
