FUTURESTORIES that will be released this year, worldwide on Redfield Records and establish themselves already now as international alternative-newcomer in 2016. Renowned US-producer Dan Korneff (i.a. PAPA ROACH, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, PARAMORE) was responsible for the mix and mastering of the album as well as guidance through the whole production-process. Following the statement of the band, the first output is perfectly reflecting the position that BREATHE ATLANTIS take with their new material: “’Lost’ can be described as the most representative track of the album. A straight and tightly arranged rock-song that nevertheless conveys emotion just like a clear message. This all, summarized in one word by the title of the song, seems to be for almost everyone a permanent topic in this day and age, which seems to be overloaded with possibilities and limitations.” Therefore the song doesn’t just deal with life in modern society but also perfectly fits into the scenery of a big city, BREATHE ATLANTIS insisted on shooting the accompanying video under the direction of Mirko Witzki (i.a. CALIBAN, ANY GIVEN DAY, WE BUTTER THE BREAD WITH BUTTER) in one of the most famous metropolises of all: “Parallel to the work with Dan Korneff, we also shot the video for ‘Lost’ in New York. Through that, it felt like we got to know the whole city in a very short time and succeeded in getting breathtaking scenes of the skyline from the boat and from the air, as well as getting the big and important places of Manhattan in front of the camera. Actually it was a flood of overwhelming impressions and emotions that also found their way on the record.”
