All the more appealing when the Vikings of Batboner, after 10 years of experimenting together, have recorded such a multi-layered and for the genre timeless album. Elements of surf, punk, goth and twist are evaporated to the very own Batboner style. Associatively and reflectively, the lyrics are based on many personal experiences of the band members from the far north and offer the ideal projection surface for own interpretations. The joy of playing is contagious and so one can only hope that the Northmen will soon find a permanent place on the European stages despite Covid 19.
