When it comes to homemade, honest and straightforward hard rock, Batten Down The Hatches have already made a name for themselves in the Ruhr area and are a set size. The style direction is clearly defined: Old school hard rock, powerful and forceful. Heavy, sharp guitar riffs from the foundry, bass lines as black as shaft coal and hard forged drumbeats. Add a good portion of power and the typical HATCHES sound is ready. In October 2019 the new album Breaking Bad was recorded. Some of the songs were already presented live to the audience. The resonance shows again that the band is on the right track. Listening to Breaking Bad, it quickly becomes clear that no compromises have been made here either: harder, louder & still alive.
