Re-release, grey vinyl, limited to 500 copies. The great Townes Van Zandt once said there were two kinds of music: "The blues and zip-a-dee-doo-dah." This falls into the blues category and even a cemetery full of black metal guitarists can't do anything about the effect that is almost dark and raw like the debut of 23 year old Mirel Wagner. The sound is very fine and pure, only her voice to the acoustic guitar is called folk. Mirel, born in Ethiopia but raised in Finland in tranquil circumstances, writes about really dark things...Necromancy, love, death and devil, but avoids any theatrical approach. Her lecture is based on a rarely found naturalness. Truthfulness radiates vaguely from her acoustic fantasies.
