Lindy Huppertsberg studied classical music at the Hochschule in Mainz and is one of the best-known jazz bassists in Europe. Her teacher Ray Brown gave her the honorary name "Lady Bass". The city of New Orleans even granted her honorary citizenship. Huppertsberg currently plays with the Frankfurt Barrelhouse Jazzband, leads his own formations, is also involved in many projects and is therefore very present in the German and European jazz scene. Classic Affairs is one of her most recent projects, which appears together with drummer Tobias Schirmer and after a short time is very well accepted by organizers and audience. Pianist Christof S?nger is also very active and plays not only with Classik Aiffairs but also with the Ernie Watts Quartet, with legend Sheila Jorden and also with the Barrelhouse Jazz Band. He has also made a name for himself internationally through numerous tours and festival appearances. As "Classic Affairs" Laika Records releases a recording of a highly acclaimed concert in St. Wendel in co-production with Saarl?ndischer Rundfunk.
